Vacteck can mount either a hydraulic drive or shaft drive screw compressor to your vehicle which can then power one of our wide range of pneumatic vacuums, water blaster or pothole vacuum systems. The advantage of this kind of system is that you don't need to tow an air compressor behind your vehicle, the whole compressor is installed by qualified engineers and mechanics into your truck or Land Cruiser.
In this shot a shaft driven screw compressor is being installed into an Isuzu 450 crew cab truck. The drive, shaft, receiver tank, electronics and all associated components that make the compressor system work are installed and tested before leaving the workshop for the next phase, which is the installation of the requested vacuum system.
All components are installed professionally by highly qualified engineers. The parts are mainly installed into the chassis of the vehicle, out of sight and safe from any knocks that vehicles experience.
The system sits within the chassis of the vehicle.
Installation is a complex procedure that requires several days installation and a complete understanding of the system. Using the vehicle mounted compressor and vacuum system is just a matter of flicking a switch and engaging the compressor drive.
Here the system has been installed into the rear of a Toyota Land Cruiser. The cooler is visible here.
