Vacteck's Sand Vacuum system is powered by the Hopper Vac 450 and utilises the Bulldog 150 capture tank system. The system can be configured in many different ways. The photo below shows the system configured to be truck mounted on this Dual wheel Mercedes Sprinter truck.

The power of Vacteck's air powered sand Vac creates sufficient thrust and air flow to be able to move sand at a rate of up to 25 tons per hour. The rate will be determined by the moisture content of the sand, the size of the compressor you choose and what setting you have the automatic reverse air blast filter cleaning set at.
The Sand Vacuum is based on Vacteck's successful Hopper Vac 450, a high powered vacuum loader with automatic controls. The system can be configured with manual controls which reduces the price but not the efficiency.Sand weighs between 80-120 pounds per cubic foot or 36-54 kgs per 30cm cubed. The sand vac can pick up both wet and dry sand, the pick up rate determined by the moisture content.
The filtration system will be configured with either 8 or 4 paper or anti-static filters depending on the final application.
Maintenance as with all Vacteck products is simple and requires no specialist tools.
The system itself is both complicated and simple at the same time. The vacuum generators are high powered ejectors that are finely tuned with advanced silencers and incorporating the latest reverse blast filter cleaning bypass blasting tubes. The construction is powder coated steel and aircraft grade aluminium and stainless steel where needed.
The Sand Vac can be confiured with 50mm, 75mm or 100mm hose and tools.
The truck mounted Sand Vac is a high powered solution to the ages old problem of removing sand from buildings, oil well heads, maintenance yards and anywhere the sand build up is a problem.
